Miles Community College is currently accepting applications for the position of Athletic Director. This position will provide daily leadership, administrative direction, and oversight for all intercollegiate athletics staff (NJCAA and NIRA), programs, facilities, budget, athletic fundraising, community outreach, and athletic facility activities. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all federal, divisional, and college athletics regulation; administering departmental funds and accounts in a fiscally responsible manner; and sustaining a culture of sportsmanship, professionalism, and respect at all levels. The director also collaborates with enrollment services and student engagement on the recruitment and retention of student athletes and collaborates with chief academic officer on all academic matters.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred in business, education, sports management, sports administration, or related fields. Minimum of four years related experience in athletic administration, activities management, or college coaching. Ability to travel and work evenings and weekends as required.
