Head Women's Basketball Coach New Jersey Institute of Technology
New Jersey Institute of Technology, an NCAA Division I institution and a member of the ASUN Conference located in the University Heights district of Newark, NJ, is accepting applications for the position of Head Women's Basketball Coach. The Head Coach will be responsible for directing all aspects of the program, including but not limited to: the recruitment of qualified student-athletes consistent with the competitive requirements of a DI program and the academic standards of the University; organizing, conducting and supervising practices; and the preparation and implementation of game strategies. Additional responsibilities include: scheduling, budget oversight, supervision of assistant coaches & staff; participation in fundraising, alumni, public relations, and community initiatives. The Head Coach must be committed to NCAA & University rules compliance. Other duties include serving on institutional and ASUN committees and performing other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
Essential qualifications include a bachelor's degree and five years experience as a women's basketball coach at a highly competitive collegiate level. All applications must demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, process working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations, and demonstrate a commitment of student athlete welfare and athletics excellence in a rigorous academic environment.
