Director of Coaching for the Casper Soccer Club.
The Casper Soccer Club seeks a full time person to serve as the Director of Coaching for the club's programs. The Director of Coaching is responsible for all DOC duties and responsible for the club's competitive and recreational programs. The Casper Soccer Club consists of over a 1000 members. The position involves a non traditional work schedule. The Casper Soccer Club is located in Casper, Wyoming.

Recruit, select, and place volunteer coaches for competitive teams.
Develop, coordinate, and implement Casper Soccer Club initiatives and programs.
Available on-site for training/practice sessions, events, board of director meetings, local tournaments, and designated out-of-town tournaments/events.
Serve as the technical and tactical subject matter expert.
Liaise and communicate with the club’s competitive players and parents.
Execute club standards and appropriate training program for each age division.
Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to the club’s Recreational Coordinator.
Unify team programing across all age groups with a technical focus.
Initiate training and special programs throughout the year, appropriate to coach and player requirements.
Support the club’s Executive Director with administrative duties relating to coaching staff (budgeting, background checks, concussion protocol, player placement, field and equipment coordination).
Coordinate and supervise the annual player identification/evaluation process for competitive teams and coaches.
Host quarterly coaching staff meetings with competitive program coaches
Supervise and identify club affiliated summer camps and development programs
Work with Wyoming Soccer Association programs to improve our affiliated players’ soccer development programs.
Foster a positive club culture.
Involved in all Casper Soccer Club programs youth through adult.
USSF D License, C License or above preferred OR USC National Diploma.
Minimum 5 years coaching in youth soccer, DOC experience preferred at the competitive level.
Knowledgeable and up to date on all matters USSF.
Program coordination experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
Ability to effectively communicate with youth and adults.
Flexible, adaptable, self-directed and ability to resolve conflict.
Additional Salary Information: The Director of Coaching position is a full-time, exempt position requiring approximately 40 hours per week. Seasonal surge requirements are March through May and August through October. Weekly on-site hours will be required with additional off-site, flexible hours.
The Club will pay no overtime compensation.
Two weeks (10 business days) of vacation are authorized.
Applicant must be currently qualified for employment within the United States, as US citizens, or with an existing Green Card/Work Visa. Casper Soccer Club is not able to sponsor new visa applications.

The Casper Soccer Club is a nonprofit Soccer organization. The CSC programs include recreational programs, competitive travel programs and adult soccer programs. CSC strongly believes in the benefits of organized sports. The CSC will help in the development of positive life skills and self-concepts through learning the basic principles of soccer, the fundamentals of teamwork and the responsibilities of sportsmanship.
