Provide leadership to the annual funds programs and/or major gifts programs for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Develop relationships and secure financial support for all areas of the athletic department through cultivation and solicitations. Plan and develop special projects and major department events to increase donor base. Assist in managing volunteer athletic advisory board - National Athletic Development Council. Reports to Deputy Director, Athletics - External Develop, implement, and execute annual fundraising strategies to enhance The Golden Flashes Club totals. Coordinate generation of annual fund gifts for support of KSU Intercollegiate Athletics through personal solicitations. Develop strategies for increasing support from prospect portfolios. Manage and solicit a portfolio of 200+ major gift prospects; prepare reports to track and communicate progress toward stated goals. Oversee the planning and management of athletic advancement special events, with a priority on the annual Scholarship Auction. Supervise assigned department staff in fundraising efforts; may include classified and unclassified staff, graduate assistants, student employees, and volunteers. Manage production of gift/pledge letters and credit card reports to ensure accuracy. Perform related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Three years of experience in fundrasiing or related field.
Must be able to work Nontraditional hours and Weekends
