McKendree University is seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to serve as a graduate assistant Swimming Coach for the McKendree University Bearcats Men’s and Women’s teams on the main campus in Lebanon, Illinois. McKendree is a member of the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) and competes as an NCAA Division ll program.
The Bearcat Swimming and Diving team is now completing its second highly successful season as a Division II power. The team trains and competes at the new McKendree Metro Rec Plex which houses an aquatics center for swimming and diving (2 pools) and water polo, and two sheets of ice for hockey.
The graduate assistant will assist the Head Swim coach in planning and executing the training for both swim teams in and out of the pool; and with administrative duties as assigned, including but not limited to monitoring of academic progress of student-athletes, recruiting, fundraising, planning of team travel, and organizing set up for home meets.

A bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and acceptance into a Masters program at McKendree University is required.
