Sports Medicine, Sports Medicine - Athletic Training
Under close supervision by the Assistant Athletics Director, Sports Medicine or the Athletic Trainers on staff, work as a certified athletic trainer fellow with a team of seven certified athletic trainers in a NCAA D-I athletic program composed of 23 sports and 650 student-athletes. Team assignments to be determined by the Assistant Athletics Director, Sports Medicine.

Minimum Qualifications: Current certification by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification. CPR/AED certification. Collegiate athletic training experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Ability to assist in the supervision, management, and education of student athletic training interns in the athletic training room setting. Ability to design and administer post injury, pre-op and post-op rehabilitation programs. Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Ability and initiative to learn and apply athletic training skills within the UC Davis program parameters. Experience teaching lecture and symposium style classes to general student body. Experience traveling with athletic teams.
