Ohio Wesleyan University is a selective, private, undergraduate liberal arts, residential institution founded in 1842 and is located just 20 miles north of Columbus. The University’s Athletic Department invites applications for the position of Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach. The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of the Director of Athletics and the women’s volleyball head coach. The assistant coach will assist in the planning and administration of all phases of a quality Division III program.
This twelve-month, full-time, benefits eligible position is responsible for assisting with all phases of a Division III volleyball program including; recruiting responsibilities as assigned, assisting with match and practice preparation, player training and development, player strength and conditioning, coordinating team travel and meals, scouting film breakdown and video exchange, social media communication, fundraising, camps and other duties as assigned by the Head Volleyball Coach.

This position will function in accordance with NCAA regulations, North Coast Athletic Conference regulations, University Policies and the requirements of the State of Ohio. This position will assist with summer camps and other duties as assigned.
A Bachelor’s degree is required. Past playing experience and/or coaching experience at the collegiate level preferred. Candidate must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; proficiency with computer applications; a commitment to excellence and sensitivity to cultural differences and knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
