Salisbury University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Coach of Field Hockey and Softball.
Primary Job Duties: Develop and instruct female student-athletes through day-to-day academic and athletic goals associated with the University. Organize and pursue administrative strategies pertaining to the recruitment of student-athletes which will include travel as well as extensive electronic and personal communications. Demonstrate current skills and techniques for field hockey and softball instruction.
Minimum Qualifications: 1-3 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree in Education, Liberal Studies, Business or a related field.
Knowledgeable in both MAC and PC use. Must be detail oriented and have excellent interpersonal, customer service, organization and planning, prioritization, problem solving, follow through, time management, and oral & written communication skills; Must be flexible and possess the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work well under pressure, independently, and in a team-oriented environment; Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
This is a full-time, exempt, State position with a full benefits package. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. This appointment is expected to begin July 9, 2018.
