JOB PURPOSE AND FUNCTION Under the general supervision of the Senior Vice President of Annual Fund & Donor Services, the Senior Director, Ticket Sales & Development will serve as the manager of the Ticket Sales & Development group with immediate supervisory responsibility for the Ticket Sales & Development staff and Donor Services staff. The Senior Director will be expected to lead, contribute to, and support special projects and initiatives as directed.

Oversee the sales efforts for all ticketed sports including season tickets, mini-packs, packages, single game and group tickets
Train, mentor, motivate and coach the Ticket Sales & Development staff along with the Donor Services staff
Develop and execute ticket sales initiatives
Produce weekly sales reports for the 12th Man Foundation and Texas A&M Athletics
Lead the Ticket Sales & Development staff in the selling of football, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, and softball season tickets, mini-packs, packages, single game tickets, and groups tickets
Cultivate current, past, and new individual and group prospects to generate sales
Lead the Ticket Sales & Development staff in the solicitation of donations to the 12th Man Foundation
Coordinate the scheduling of staff assigned to work home Texas A&M Athletics events and service season, mini plan and group ticket accounts
Position the Donor Services staff to be an asset to sales initiatives
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with partners in sales and service including but not limited to: all other internal Foundation departments and Texas A&M Athletics
Participate in ongoing efforts to increase the use of data analytics and business intelligence to discover new revenue opportunities
Participate in annual department budget planning and monitor expenses of department
Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Demonstrate a history of success in ticket sales, sales management, and building quality relationships, preferable with a major Division 1 university or professional sports
Strong desire to work in college athletics
Ability to appropriately articulate the ticket options via phone call and in-person meetings
Candidates should have a minimum of five years of sales or customer service experience
Supervisory experience required
Proficient in all applications of Microsoft Office; Ticket software, development software, and CRM experience is a plus
Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekend, holiday, and evening hours
Ability to travel as needed to complete duties and responsibilities
