The Head Coach is responsible for the coordination of the women's volleyball program. The Head Coach also provides the essential balance and commitment between academic and athletic excellence while demonstrating strong organizational and leadership skills.
Responsibilities: Overall management of the program Coaching Recruitment and retention of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes Planning and implementation of fundraising activities Budget management Performs other duties as assigned
· Bachelor’s Degree
· Demonstrated experience as a women's volleyball coach at one of the following levels: Head High School Coach, Head Elite Club Coach, Assistant Collegiate Coach or Head Collegiate Coach.
· Master’s Degree
· Demonstrated leadership abilities
History of working with and the understanding of the rules and regulations pertaining to NCAA Division II volleyball · Strong organizational and communication skills
· Experience in fundraising
· Ability to foster relationships with alumni, community members, and donors
