The head coach will be responsible for all facets of the volleyball program. The primary emphasis for the position is the recruitment and retention of qualified student –athletes, and the administration of a competitive NCAA Division I volleyball program. Preference will be given to the candidate who has playing and or coaching experience at the intercollegiate level in volleyball and who can demonstrate a proven ability to recruit quality student-athletes who fit the academic profile of the student body.
-Performs coaching and recruiting duties.
-Demonstrates effectiveness of public relations, media relations, and people skills.
-Demonstrates effectiveness in monitoring student-athlete academic progress, retention, and graduation.
-Sets and accomplishes program goals.
-Effectively maintains budget and management of scholarships.
-Possess organizational skills and is effective in promoting student-athlete involvement.
-Must demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills and must be able to work effectively with staff, faculty, and other members of the college community.
-Displays professional sportsmanlike conduct during athletic events
-Complies with all NCAA, Horizon League, UW System and Green Bay rules and regulations
Mimumum requirements: A bachelor's degree is required; Head coaching experience at any NCAA collegiate level; Assistant coaching experience at the NCAA DI level; Significant collegiate coaching experience is required.
Preferred requirements: Masters degree; Head coaching experience at the NCAA DI level
