You will assist the Aquatics Manager in running the overall operations at Harvard's two pools. You will help manage a large staff of lifeguards and desk monitors, including hiring, scheduling, training and supervision. You will oversee pool operations, including facility maintenance, policy development and enforcement, and equipment procurement. You will ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including the State Health Code for pool safety and operations. You will plan and prepare for numerous events, including Ivy League championships, Special Olympics, club competitions, and some national and regional championships. Pools are used by recreation members as well as 6 Varsity sports (Men's & Women's Swimming & Diving and Men's & Women's Water Polo).
Evening and weekend work is required, and you will have on-call responsibility.

Bachelor's degree required. Must have at least 2 years' experience managing and supervising people. Must have current, valid Lifeguard Certification. Experience in Aquatics management strongly preferred.
