Position Information: The faculty of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at California State University Dominguez Hills invites applications from individuals for a Head Women's Soccer Coach in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics
The Ideal Candidate: Can demonstrate coaching success at the high school or collegiate level; excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills; strong commitment to the academic achievement of student-athletes. Ability to act as a mentor and demonstrate leadership to equality and diversity issues.
Responsibilities: The head coach is responsible for supporting the Athletic Director in all operations of the Women's Soccer program in accordance with NCAA, CCAA Conference and University rules, regulations and policies. Duties include but are not limited to the following: Recruiting, scheduling, planning, organizing, fundraising, monitoring academic performance and promoting intercollegiate athletics and other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
Minimum Qualifications - High School diploma with 1 to 3 years of successful high school or collegiate soccer coaching experience or equivalent. - Experience working with students from diverse age, socioeconomic, cultural, and academic backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's Degree and a minimum of 3 - 5 years of successful soccer coaching experience.
