The head coach is responsible for all aspects of the sport to include successfully organizing and implementing a recruiting/retention plan, integrating the program into the campus community, supervising practice/contests, supporting student-athlete success and managing the program in accordance with department/college/NJCAA rules and regulations. Additional duties may be assigned by the Athletic Director.
Experience in coaching as a head or assistant coach or have played sport at the NJCAA level or higher.
Knowledge of recruiting and the NJCAA rules of competition and eligibility.
Experience coaching or participating in the sport at the High School or College level
Strong organizational, management and teamwork skills
Solid administration and computer skills
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Willingness and desire to work respectfully with people of diverse backgrounds
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
Additional Salary Information: This is a part time faculty position that is paid through the faculty contract. The current contract pays this position at $6,130.40 for the Spring semester.
