The Missouri Valley Conference seeks qualified applicants for the position of Assistant/Associate Commissioner for New Media and Technology.
About the Missouri Valley Conference.
Headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, the MVC is the NCAA’s second-oldest Division I conference, founded in 1907. The Valley’s staff includes 14 full-time employees. Member institutions include Bradley, Drake, Evansville, Illinois State, Indiana State, Loyola Chicago, Missouri State, Northern Iowa, Southern Illinois-Carbondale, and Valparaiso.
About the Position. Core position responsibilities will include the following: 1) management of various aspects of creative and digital content; 2) contributions to Conference marketing and promotional initiatives; 3) maintenance of the league website; 4) oversight of strategies on social media platforms; 5) oversight of photography library; 6) graphic design of selected league publications, and, 7) work on video content for website and MVC television broadcasts. Knowledge and comfort with various computer systems and software is essential, as well as staying up-to-date with the latest trends in digital marketing, social media and technology. Experience with FTP, file management, graphic design, video editing and Adobe Creative Suite is helpful.
