Position Summary: Men's Soccer. The Assistant Athletics Coach assists the Head Coach in the recruitment, training, and guidance of student athletes.
Participates in the planning and implementation of team and individual strategies and tactics in the execution of game preparation methods and techniques.
Assists the Head Coach with recruiting, arranging travel, managing budgets, coaching, instructing, strength training and conditioning and tracking equipment.
Follows all federal, divisional, and University athletics regulations, to include rules and regulations established by the Sun Belt Conference and the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA).
Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum Experience Required: Two or more years of collegiate coaching and/or playing experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Effective communication (verbal and written), organization and human relations skills; ability to work well in a diverse environment; proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office Applications software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; successful completion of background investigation prior to employment.
Preferred Experience:: Two or more years of men’s soccer collegiate coaching and/or playing experience
