Provide Leadership in the academic, personal, and athletic development of student-athletes at Dixie State University by directing and coordinating all activities of the Women's Soccer program, in the planning, organizing, and coaching of the NCAA Division II team.
Hire, supervise, and direct all part-time and volunteer assistants in proper function and assignments. Ensure compliance by all Women's Soccer staff of all University, Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, and NCAA procedures and regulations. Monitor academic progress and general welfare/wellness of student-athletes.
The Athletic Department at Dixie State University (DSU) is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division II level. Dixie State fields teams in the following sports: Football, Men’s Soccer, Women’s Soccer, Women’s Volleyball, Men’s Cross Country, Women’s Cross Country, Women's Track, Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, Softball, Baseball, Women’s Tennis, Women's Swimming, Men’s Golf, and Women's Golf. DSU is a member of the Pacific West Conference for all sports except Football. Football is a member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. Beginning July, 2018, all sports will be members of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. Dixie State University General Information The University is located on 100 acres in the heart of St. George, Utah. The population of Washington County is approximately 150,000. St. George is situated in the southwestern corner of Utah, approximately 350 miles south of Salt Lake City and 110 miles northeast of Las Vegas, Nevada. St. George is a tourist magnet because of its proximity to such scenic wonders as Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon National Park, Cedar Breaks National Monument, Lake Mead and Lake Powell.
