Spring Hill College Department of Athletics – Assistant Softball Coach
The Department of Athletics at Spring Hill College, a Provisional member of NCAA Division II and member of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, has an Assistant Coach Position (Pitching Coach) available with the Softball Team. This is a full-time position but may be hired as an interim depending upon successful candidate’s qualifications.
Responsibilities: Assist the Head Coach with all aspects of a nationally competitive softball program, including team travel, video editing, recruiting, on-field coaching, summer camps, monitoring academics, etc. Provide administration and coaching for all aspects of the JV softball team along with the program Graduate Assistant. The position will also assume secondary responsibilities in an area such as intramurals, recreation, sports information, Leisure Studies, game management, etc.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and experience appropriate to coaching and training in the respective sport is required. Master’s degree and prior experience in coaching is preferred. Full job description, requirements, etc., available by scrolling to Staff Openings via http://www.shc.edu/jobs
