Will primarily assist in the creation and execution of all video content for the CBU Athletics Department. They will also assist in the maintenance and operation of Video equipment in all Athletic venues and spaces. Create video content for web-site social media and Event Center programming.
Other duties may be assigned. 1.Work under the supervision the Director of Media Production to film, edit, and produce high quality video content. This may include highlights reels, post-game interviews, “Athlete of the Month,” or other creative video projects as assigned. 2.Coordinate any “pre” and “post” production of video projects including but not limited to scripting, audio recording, lighting, and posting to all digital/social media/website platforms. 3.Produce 3D animated graphics, bumpers, titles, and transitions using CBU Lancer branding. 4.Produce in-game video content that will be used to create an engaging fan experience, as well as leverage sponsorships. 5.Manage the inventory, maintenance, and improvement of all Athletics owned video equipment. 6.Assist in the operation and maintenance of all Audio, Video, Lighting, and Rigging systems in the Athletic venues and spaces. 7.Maintain, organize, and archive video using metadata and network based servers. 8.Complete administrative tasks as assigned. 9.Attend and participate in weekly Media Production, regular department, and fan engagement meetings. 10.Coordinate student workers and interns in media production related tasks. 11.Contribute to the social media and website video posting strategy and processes. 12.Adhere to all institutional, conference and NCAA by-laws and regulations. 13.Understand and agree to abide by the mission of CBU and the CBU Athletics Department. 14.Must be available to work nights and weekends.
This position could be responsible for assigning work and/or giving direction to part-time Student Workers, in order to complete work assignments.

Skill and knowledge in lighting as it pertains to video and filming. ? Working knowledge of audio principles including but not limited to: EQ, Compression, Reverb, Recording, Mixing, and Editing. ? Skill in 3D video animation and editing using Adobe Creative Cloud and Final Cut Pro X software ? Working knowledge of video posting as it relates to social media, YouTube, Vimeo, websites, and podcasts ? Working knowledge of Audio, Video, Lighting, and Rigging systems and equipment in a live production environment. ? Skill in using Mac OSX, and Windows Platforms ? Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications ? A thorough knowledge of: Business English and arithmetic; general office methods, procedures and practices ? Ability to read and write at a level appropriate to the duties of the position ? Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse faculty, staff and student body ? Strong organizational skills and detailed oriented ? Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials ? Ability to handle delicate matters with discretion. ? Ability to take direction and criticism with grace. ? Ability to work evenings, over holiday breaks and weekends
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with writing scripts, conducting on-camera interviews, and video storytelling. Must be proficient and proven in all areas of video production, and have some working experience in live audio, video and lighting applications as well.
