Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics, a Division 1 and Big Ten Conference Institution is seeking a Head Coach for Men's Soccer. The University seeks a dynamic and experienced leader with a strong commitment to NCAA Division I-A athletics, integrity, compliance, academics, character, diversity, and the academic and athletic experience of the student-athlete. Responsible for maintaining and strengthening a nationally competitive men's soccer program by presenting a clear vision and strategy for winning a NCAA National Championship. Candidate must engage in the personal, academic and athletic development of student-athletes and is responsible for the program's strict compliance with University, Big Ten Conference, and NCAA regulations. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus eight years of related experience. Coaching experience at the collegiate level is required. Commitment to comply fully with the mission statements of the University and Department, including Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics vision to prepare students for a lifetime of impact. Proven organizational, evaluation, administrative, and communication skills; a demonstrated ability to work well under pressure; and knowledge of NCAA regulations required. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as part of your job responsibilities. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to three publicly available background checks. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year with an excellent possibility of re-funding.
