Athletic Camps Coordinator Ferris State University Work in conjunction with applicable athletic coaches and other university staff to plan, coordinate, market and stage all university athletics sponsored sport camps. Serve as primary customer service representative for all athletic camp customers and potential customers. During times when camp duties are minimal, this position will also serve in an athletics administrative support capacity with facility/event promotion and management, corporate sponsor sales/fulfillment/activation, as well as other duties assigned by the Athletic Director. Maintain program in accordance with the established policies and procedures of NCAA, GLIAC and WCHA league rules and standards, Title IX and University policies.
Required: Bachelor's degree. Two seasons of experience, including summers, with athletic camps and/or university events, intercollegiate athletics or collegiate marketing & sales. Must be able to work varied hours, which will include weekends and travel when required. Work experience involving planning, coordination of marketing, promotion and advertising of events/camps; registration logistics, maintaining accurate financial accounts and preparing budget reports. Must be able to utilize software pertinent to event planning, billing and departmental functions while also assisting in coordination of camp staff payroll and employment processes.
