The Purdue Research Foundation, University Development Office has an opening for an Assistant Director, John Purdue Club Annual Giving/Assistant Director of Development.
This position will: coordinate the acquisition, advancement and retention of John Purdue Club members by producing solicitations, renewals, and marketing materials; create, plan and manage innovative annual giving initiatives to drive annual giving growth in both members and cash donations; build and manage portfolio of advancement prospects, making 60 visits and 60 discoveries.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Degree in Athletics Administration, Management, Education, Communication, Hospitality and Tourism Management or related field preferred.
0-3 years of experience.
Must be detail-oriented with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Excellent customer service, planning, and organizational skills.
Ability to think creatively with a willingness to take initiative.
Knowledge of and experience in development and intercollegiate athletics preferred.
