RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direction of the Senior Associate Athletic Director of NCAA Eligibility & Student Athlete Success. Provides academic guidance for assigned teams. Monitors and oversees tutoring program for athletics. Assists with university process for advising student-athletes. Must build and maintain rapport with university community. Monitor and implement study hall for all sports; and other duties as assigned. This position requires working evenings and weekends.

Bachelor’s degree required. At least one year of experience in a Division I intercollegiate athletics program required. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations required. Position requires ability to design and implement new programs associated with student-athlete development.
Candidates must have outstanding leadership, management, and interpersonal skills to relate to a wide diversity of faculty, staff, students and community members. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills. Candidate must display the highest of ethical standards and commitment to the overall success of Ohio Athletics.
Master’s degree preferred. Experience working with a culturally diverse population is preferred. Experience with head count sports and students with learning disabilities and/or difficulties preferred.
