Leads Softball Program. Coaches team and recruits top ranked student-athletes, ensuring compliance with NCAA, ACC, and University rules and regulations. Designs, implements, and manages training programs. Assists student-athletes in achieving academic and athletic goals. Performs other duties as assigned.
60% - Essential - PROGRAM MANAGEMENT & COMPETITIVE EXCELLENCE: Develops student-athletes by teaching them the fundamentals of softball and the strategies necessary for successful performance on the field. Develops and maintains a championship softball program. Maintains and develops a quality staff. Operates program for success on the field.
20% - Essential - STUDENT-ATHLETE ACADEMIC INTEGRITY & WELFARE: Manages program in a manner that supports Athletic Academic Services in the academic development and personal development of softball student-athletes.
10% - Essential - COMPLIANCE: Manages program in a manner ensuring strict adherence to NCAA, ACC, and University rules and regulations. Maintains a squad size required for Title IX compliance.
10% - Essential - PUBLIC RELATIONS: Managers the program to enhance the image of Clemson softball, Clemson Athletics, and Clemson University. Participates in IPTAY meetings and other speaking engagements.
