Coastal Carolina University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Digital Broadcast Assistant (temporary position) for Athletics. Responsibilities include but, are not limited to: assisting in the coordination of all facets of in-game production at athletic sporting events at Coastal Carolina University; coordinating live web streamed events; assisting in athletic website maintenance; assisting in the production of daily content for social media and website use; providing up-to-date knowledge of technical requirements of athletic in-game media video streaming; assisting in the production of end of the year highlight videos for each sport; providing technical assistance and training to temporary employees and student staff who assist in the production of in-game media and streaming. Position is also responsible for maintaining an innovative approach and generating new concepts for the Athletic Video Department and performing other duties as assigned by assigned by the Digital Broadcast Coordinator or Director of Gameday Experience and Promotions.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and one (1) year experience in video production or equitable field required. Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Programs including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, & After Effects, and knowledge of Daktronics Scoreboard software (Venus), NewTek Tricaster Broadcast & 850 Series and Sport Sounds Pro. Ross Media applications contained in live productions. Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills required.

The Atkins Field House will be completed in January 2010 featuring a state of the art weight training facility, athletic offices and academic enhancement center and will add approximately 1200 additional seats to Brooks Stadium. The baseball stadium has recently been enlarged and a cutting edge hitting facility is under construction.
By 2011, the Coastal Carolina Convocation Center will be completed. This facility will be capable of seating 3500 persons for home basketball games.
