The University of Alabama Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is soliciting applications from qualified individuals for the position of Development Research Analyst. Reporting to the Director of Stewardship and Development Operations, the Development Research Analyst will work to support the fundraising team of the Crimson Tide Foundation and The University of Alabama Department of Athletics. This position is responsible for identifying and qualifying individuals, corporations, foundations and other entities to support the philanthropic efforts of the Crimson Tide Foundation. The Crimson Tide Foundation is the official fundraising arm of the University of Alabama Athletics Department providing capital, scholarship, endowment and operational support for the University of Alabama Athletics Department. Additionally, this position will interface and coordinate with University Advancement Services to ensure data and policy integrity.

Required minimum qualifications are a bachelor's degree in accounting, business, library science, marketing, journalism or liberal arts or related field and at least one year experience with biographical and development reference materials such as a research analyst, in a field related to fund-raising or in a similar position OR a bachelor's degree in an unrelated field and at least two years' experience with biographical and development reference materials such as a research analyst, in a field related to fund-raising or in a similar position. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of individuals both orally and in writing. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and with a diverse population. Must possess strong editing skills and be detail oriented. Strong computer skills to include word processing, spreadsheets and database management. Self motivated and well organized. Must have some research related coursework.
