Job Description The Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach/ Recruiting Coordinator/ Head JV Coach position is responsible for assisting with the leadership, organization, recruiting and administration of the College of Mount Saint Vincent Baseball Program. This position is heavily involved in the recruiting of potential student-athletes, practice preparation, player development, game strategy and team fundraising. This is the top assistant coaching position within the College of Mount Saint Vincent Baseball Program and is a paid part-time coaching position.
Assistant Baseball Coach, work with the head coach to support all aspects of the Baseball Program
Recruiting Coordinator, be a fundamental piece in the recruitment of qualified student-athletes
Head JV Baseball Coach, lead our JV team and develop its players
Responsible for physical, mental and skill development of hitters and infielders
Assist with the fundraising initiatives set forth by the Head Coach and/or help to create fundraising ideas
Assist with community outreach initiatives
Expected to be on campus consistently throughout the year and at all baseball games, practices, meetings, events and functions
Knowledge of NCAA Division DIII rules, regulations and recruiting practices
Previous successful coaching and/or playing experience on the College or Professional levels
Ability to work effectively with all College personnel, students, and the community
Ability to be at all baseball games, practices, meetings, events and functions throughout the year
Positive, Committed and Motivated attitude towards program and personal growth
Must have a valid driver's license
