Dartmouth College seeks an Assistant Director to work with the Senior Managing Director of Athletics Fundraising to execute a comprehensive strategy to raise the maximum current-use dollars for Dartmouth College Athletics. The Assistant Director will be responsible for solicitation and stewardship activities as well as recruiting, training, and coaching volunteers.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree with at least three years of experience in fundraising, preferably in an annual fund setting or a higher education, athletics campaign environment. Demonstrated success in soliciting, closing and stewardship of gifts and volunteer management experience with high-level volunteers such as trustees and advisory boards preferred. Marketing and communications experience is helpful. This position requires a dedicated, self-motivated and results-oriented development professional with strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as demonstrated knowledge of college athletics.
