The position will serve the University, the Department, coaches and student-athletes, assuring that activities, processes and documentation adhere to association, conference and University rules and policies. The position will oversee the academic progress of student-athletes in their earnest pursuit of a degree.
Primary responsibilities include oversight for coordination, implementation, facilitation and evaluation of all facets of the Concordia University Athletics Compliance and Academic Support programs; promoting a culture of institutional compliance and academic integrity; administering rules education for various campus constituencies, including athletics department administrators, coaches, student-athletes, and Offices of Admissions, Financial Aid and the Registrar; and serving as a liaison to deans, faculty and academic advisors in supporting the academic endeavors of Concordia student-athletes.
5+ years of progressively responsible experience administering intercollegiate athletics compliance efforts and oversight. NCAA Division II experience preferred but not required.
