Lafayette College is currently seeking an Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach. The position is a full-time (12 months) administrative appointment with a salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Lafayette College is a most academically competitive, independent, undergraduate, coeducational institution with a student body of 2,300 students with Division I membership (Football - FCS) in the NCAA and the Patriot League. The athletics program consists of 11 sports for men and 11 sports for women and one co-ed sport. In recent years, the program has produced several conference champions, both athletic and academic All-Americans, and several NCAA tournament appearances.
Assessment and recruiting of appropriate student-athletes with excellent academic background to a NCAA Division I institution and assist in recommending scholarship for prospective student-athletes.
Assist in scouting and in-season film evaluation and breakdown.
Possess knowledge of and abide by NCAA and Patriot League rules and regulations.
Assist in the organization and planning of all special events.
Assist in fundraising and development activities.
Assist in continued development of positive public relations with alumni and the community.
Assist with competitive contests.
Assist in advising student-athletes.
Work closely with Sports Medicine for the care and prevention of athletic injuries and support the overall drug and alcohol education program for student-athletes.
Attend department meetings.
Performance of all other duties and special projects as assigned by the Athletic Administration and Head Men’s Soccer Coach.
