Provide all aspects of throwing event training and implementation, as well as meeting the specific strength & conditioning needs for designated athletic teams. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: meeting with coaches and student-athletes devising all-encompassing full season training plans implementation of the specific training plans for each throwing event assisting with home T&F meet management design, implement and supervise strength and conditioning programs for male and female student athletes provide and/or assist coaches with technique instruction in strength training and program design within the scope of the sport Assist with recruitment of men and women's throwers assist in proper setup, use, and maintenance of conditioning equipment weekend travel to Track and Field competitions is required.
Certification as either a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and/or Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified from the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa)
Experience working as a strength & conditioning coach in a collegiate setting
Experience developing comprehensive strength and conditioning programs for all sports.
