Primary responsibility is the oversight and management of the day to day operations of the food and beverage operations of assigned University of Oregon Athletic Department sporting events, including pre-event set-up, working event and post-event breakdown. Hire, train, schedule, supervise, evaluate and discipline 10 temporary and 60 student workers to meet customer service demands. Train, schedule, and supervise 40 non-profit volunteer groups (up to 50 per group) to staff concession stands during all University of Oregon home contests and outside events. Implement training schedule for staff. Ensure successful staffing of events. Available outside of “normal business hours” on nights and weekends to perform responsibilities. Responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the Intercollegiate Athletics Department, including adherence to all department policies and procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University of Oregon, Pac-12 Conference and the NCAA.
Minimum Requirements • Two years’ work experience working in collegiate or professional sports concessions. Volunteer experience may be substituted for part of required work experience. • Possession of OLCC service permit OR ability to acquire one within 30 days. • Ability to work nights and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. • Three or more years of successful work experience as a collegiate or professional sports concession manager.
