Assist the Video Production Coordinator and the broadcasting department with the creation, production and promotion of video content used by University Athletics
Serve as the primary feature video producer and editor for the department. Conceptualize and produce special video features to increase fan engagement. Would include student athlete, coach or team features. May involve working with a particular program to produce sport-specific content or working with Athletics Development or Marketing to produce content for use in their areas.
This is a paid 10-month internship designed to help Lipscomb University Athletics promote the department’s athletic and fundraising activities and also to give the intern a broad range of video creation and production opportunities with which to enhance their skills and portfolio.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Adobe Premier and or Final Cut Pro required.
Ability to work evenings/weekends and maintain a flexible work schedule.
Capable of carrying necessary camera equipment to on-campus locations
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a member of a production team covering a live event.
