ROLE of the POSITION
This position provides leadership, organization, technical expertise, training and development of student-athletes with respect to producing a competitive softball program. This position is expected to teach student-athletes the game of softball, promote and foster academic success, contribute to the overall development of the athlete in meeting the intellectual and ethical challenges and values of life and responsible citizenship by enhancing critical thinking, leadership skills, and social integrity. Finally, this position must accomplish recognition as one of the top national softball programs. Two positions available with this search.
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university and a minimum three (3) years of comparable professional experience either playing or coaching at NCAA, NJCAA, or NGB (e.g. National Team or Olympic) level
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
