Under the direction of the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance, the successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination of all aspects of the eligibility certification process. Duties include, but are not limited to, the coordination and facilitation of both the initial and continuing eligibility certification processes for prospective and continuing student-athletes respectively; oversight of employment of student-athletes; rules education related to eligibility; approval of outside competition by individual student-athletes; liaison to the University's Office of Admissions and the Registrar's Office; and other duties as assigned by the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance.
Bachelor's degree required
Experience with NCAA compliance responsibilities
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master's degree preferred
2 years of Experience in NCAA compliance at a higher education institution, athletic conference association or the NCAA national office or experience in academic advising, registrar office, or admissions office in higher education
Working knowledge of NCAA Division I eligibility regulations
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Sound working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and databases and the NCAA Compliance Assistant software
