The equipment/contest manager in the department of athletics reports to the Director of Athletics Facilities and manages the utilization of equipment for the Department of Athletics and Recreation and Kinesiology; prepares areas – indoor and out – for class instruction, practices, athletic contests and special functions and manages equipment room and staff operations; works with a student staff to support the head coaches in 24 intercollegiate programs with approximately 500 student athletes. Additional duties are assigned by the Director of Athletics Facilities and/or the director of athletics.
Successful experience and interest in equipment room management at the college level is preferable. A strong knowledge and experience working with sports programs/teams required.
