University of Illinois Springfield invites applications for an assistant Soccer coach. This is a full-time, 10-month, position. Under the direct supervision of the Men's Soccer Head Coach, the Assistant Coach will be primarily responsible for the instruction of athletes both on and off the field, organization, administration, coaching and recruitment. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, counseling, scouting, and coaching in all phases of our Division II Soccer program.

Bachelor’s degree preferred. Strong Soccer background with previous college playing and/or coaching experience Must demonstrate strong communication skills and to be able to work effectively with staff, faculty, and other members of the University community Must have the ability to learn and gain knowledge of NCAA, and GLVC Conference rules pertaining to Soccer.
Additional Salary Information: Tuition waiver for employee. Stipend of $9k annually (non-negotiable). Possibility of housing included.
Club coaching and Camps are possible to make extra money, in addition to stipend.
