The Assistant Women’s Tennis Coach will assist the Head Coach in development and administration of the University’s Women’s Tennis Program, including but not limited to, coaching, mental training, mentoring, recruiting, community involvement and administrative duties as assigned.
On court coaching to include skill instruction, game tactics, etc.
Assist with the planning and administration of team travel details.
Assist with paperwork for NCAA compliance.
Assist with community involvement programs with fans and donors.
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization, one year of coaching experience at the collegiate level or above, or three years at the high school level; or a high school diploma and experience at the collegiate level or above.
Successful experience as a graduate assistant or intern in an intercollegiate athletic program is acceptable for up to one year of the required experience.
Must possess the CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain within two months of employment.
Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel throughout the country.
Master’s degree from an accredited institution and Division I collegiate coaching experience.
Demonstrated commitment to rules/policy compliance, as well as, demonstrated commitment to student-athlete success both academically and athletically.
