This position is responsible for all aspects of equipment operations within the athletics department in accordance with NCAA, WCC, and Gonzaga rules, regulations, policies and procedures. The duties of the position include, but are not limited to: ordering, issuing, returning, and maintaining all athletic equipment; maintain the inventory and accountability of all athletic equipment; oversee daily laundry services; organization and upkeep of equipment room; assist with organization and upkeep of locker rooms. Two years professional experience working in a collegiate athletic department or related field
Experience working within an Athletics Equipment Operations unit
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to work as an integral part of a team.
Energetic and motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills
Work experience that demonstrates ability to manage multiple tasks and perform sound decision-making
Work experience that demonstrates successful fiscal planning/processing
Certification by the Athletic Equipment Managers Association
Work experience in higher education
Work experience in an intercollegiate athletic department
Demonstrated successful supervisory experience
