The Air Force Academy Athletics Corporation has an opportunity for a Creative Director. As a Creative Director you will:
Direct and manage three major content areas within external operations including, Social & Digital Content, Video & Network Production, and graphic design
Direct oversight of all content to produce timely, comprehensive and engaging content to be distributed across all Air Force Athletics platforms (Social, mobile, website, and traditional platforms)
Direct and implement all content strategy, digital advertising elements, digital ad campaigns, social marketing
Direct and activate all email marketing elements, including all campaigns, marketing initiatives, and communication strategies
AFAAC go to for all graphic design and video needs. Collaborate with Director of Football Video Operations on Football needs.
Oversight of all in game social efforts for AFAAC sports
Utilize insight tools such as SkullSparks, Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, and Twitter Ad Analytics to produce decision making metrics
Should possess experience in all social media platforms
Build a pipeline of strategic digital opportunities through developing a network of the key players in the industry from which to source potential transactions
Oversight of official athletics website strategic plan, and implementation from a graphic design standpoint
Implement and assess mobile technology and system feasibility
Some travel required outside of regular office hours at the discretion of the Associate AD for External Operations and the AFAAC CEO
Candidate must be team oriented and customer’s service based.
Experience producing marketing videos including knowledge of digital video camera operation, encoding software and hardware.
Experience in video production including planning, lighting, framing audio acquisition, editing, encoding and other elements.
Knowledge of mixing and editing video and audio for broadcast output.
Substantial experience working in non-linear video editing (AVID Media Composer or Final Cut Pro).
Knowledge of graphic design software (Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, HTML, etc.)
Ability to successfully communicate with AFAAC stakeholders
Proven ability to manage, mentor and lead support staff.
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred.
