Lafayette College is currently seeking a full-time Assistant Coach for the Division I Women’s Lacrosse program. The position is full-time (12 months) and includes a competitive benefits package. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Lafayette College is a most academically competitive, independent, undergraduate, coeducational institution with a student body of 2,300 students with Division I membership (Football - FCS) in the NCAA and the Patriot League. The athletics program consists of 11 sports for men and 11 sports for women and one co-ed sport. In recent years, the program has produced several conference champions, both athletic and academic All-Americans, and several NCAA tournament appearances.
Assisting with all facets of the program, along with duties assigned by the Head Coach or Athletic Administration.
The job will consist of, but is not limited to, assessment and recruitment of appropriate student-athletes, team management, academic advising and support, administration of camp and clinic programs, game day preparation, individual player skill development, alumni communication, and opponent analysis and preparation.
Computer and video editing skills strongly encouraged.
Qualified candidates should possess knowledge of and abide by NCAA and Patriot League rules and regulations.
Bachelor’s degree and prior collegiate playing experience.
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
This position will require work on nights and weekends.
