The College of William and Mary, an NCAA Division I member of the Colonial Athletic Association, invites applications for an assistant coaching position in men’s gymnastics. Responsibilities include assisting the head coach in all aspects of daily operations of the program including, but not limited to: practice and competition coaching, on and off campus recruiting, opponent scouting, scheduling, budget management, and office administration. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to the academic success of student-athletes, show the ability to recruit, develop and motivate quality student-athletes, possess good communication and leadership skills, strong computer and writing skills, and a knowledge of and commitment to all university, conference and NCAA regulations.

Bachelor’s degree and significant or extensive professional level of experience or specialized expertise; Skills or competencies related to the sport through previous playing and/or coaching experience; Demonstrated leadership abilities gained through prior playing and/or coaching experience; in the sport; Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills; Demonstrated ability to lead small and large group discussions; Strong computer skills and the ability to utilize the latest advances in technology.
