Director of Basketball Operations – Men’s Basketball
Lafayette College invites applications and nominations for the position of Director of Basketball Operations – Men’s Basketball. This is a part-time position beginning the end of August 2017 and running through the end of April 2018, with a salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Lafayette College is a most academically competitive, independent, undergraduate, coeducational institution with a student body of 2,300 students with Division I membership (Football - FCS) in the NCAA and the Patriot League. The athletics program consists of 11 sports for men and 11 sports for women and one co-ed sport. In recent years, the program has produced several conference champions, both athletic and academic All-Americans, and several NCAA tournament appearances.
•Coordinate team travel, including: processing itineraries with the coaching staff, planning meals on and off campus, scheduling and confirming travel practice requests.
•Oversee practice and game film production.
•Assist with breakdown and statistical analyses.
•Design recruiting mailings, keep database current and help plan recruiting visits.
•Assist with fundraising including working with coaches and athletic development representative in planning, preparing and coordinating events.
•Assist with team community service events including event scheduling, publicity, coordinating with Center for Community Engagement.
•Performance of all other duties and special projects as assigned by the Head Men’s Basketball Coach.
•Bachelor’s degree required.
•Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
