The University of Miami is seeking a Manager, Production Services. This position is responsible for the overall production and account service management of University Communication. The manager oversees all departmental project scheduling and trafficking, provides competitive bidding and comprehensive project estimating services, assists in developing and coordinating specifications, supervises all proofing and manufacturing steps, and manages and develops print and other vendor relationships.
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization is required.
Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated production (writing, shooting and editing) experience in fan experience content, television, digital or related field
A portfolio on (on DVD or personal website) that shows the ability to take a project from start to finish
Must be proficient in Adobe Premiere, Avid or Final Cut Pro editing software
Preferred experience in Adobe After Effects motion graphics software
Preferred experience in Daktronics Venus software
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to shoot with various cameras, as well as knowledge of various lenses to make a great image
High level of attention to detail; strong organizational and planning skills
Ability to work independently
Experience with audio/video production and post-production utilizing current and emerging technologies
Understanding of production workflow from pre-production through post and web deployment, along with the ability to work in digital platforms
Working knowledge of current industry standard audio/video file and tape formats
