REPOST The Financial and Procurement Analyst is responsible for performing the day to day business operations and financial transactions including purchasing, accounts payable, invoicing, journal entries as needed, and financial closing/reconciliations.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assist with the inflow and outflow of Accounts Payable. Assist Associate Athletic Director as the departments point of contact for internal and external payment inquiries - Review and reconcile the Department's Purchasing Card transactions; troubleshooting as necessary - Support the Associate Athletics Director / CFO to transact monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes including preparation of journal entries and vouchers - Research and reconcile process of outstanding check requests, invoices, purchasing requisition/orders and travel and reimbursements - Assist with compilation of monthly financial reporting for coaches and management - Manage the processing of the Departmental invoices and purchase requisitions/orders in a timely fashion, adhering strictly to university guidelines - Facilitate purchase requisitions, the creation of purchase orders, and following through processes in collaboration with the University's Purchasing Office - Create and maintain a detailed tracking of status for all purchase orders, requisitions and payments to be used for reconciling budgets and forecasting. - Act as point of contact for set up of new vendor profiles and updating existing profiles - Review and respond to inquiries from vendors and other university departments to independently resolves issues and communicate results - Coordinate with other departments on a regular basis to share information and help drive performance improvements - Support and assist Associate AD / CFO with requested University reports as needed - Provide exceptional customer service to Department staff and vendors - Exhibit the highest professional standards and ethical behavior with adherence to NCAA, Council of Ivy League Presidents, University, and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Physical Education rules and regulations - Assume other Budget and Finance Office duties as assigned by the Director, Intercollegiate Athletics and Physical Education
- Bachelor's Degree and/or its equivalent of education and experience required - One-Two years relevant experience - Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a cleared background check and a cleared driving history report
