Applications are invited for the position of Athletic Trainer at Saint Michael's College. Saint Michael's is an NCAA Division II institution sponsoring 21 varsity sports, and is a proud member of the Northeast-10 Conference and the EISA. This is a full-time (10 month) position with benefits.
Job responsibilities include:
Addressing prevention, care, evaluation, and treatment of injuries for intercollegiate student-athletes.
Staffing home practices, home and away contests.
Documenting treatment plans.
Assisting with ordering of equipment and supplies.
This position will require regular work hours, as well as evening, weekend, and holiday times.
Administrative and organizational tasks with Health Services, and the Team Physician

Bachelor's degree with at least one year of experience (highly desirable) in athletic training (traditional) or outpatient (nontraditional), CPR, First Aid, and NATABOC, Vermont license/eligible required.
Outstanding skills related to the evaluation and treatment of injuries.
Outstanding organizational, management, and communication skills and an ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of constituents are necessary.
Valid driver's license and must be able to successfully pass driving record check. For criteria please see the Driver Acceptability Matrix.
