The United States Naval Academy is seeking applicants for the position of Head Indoor/ Outdoor Track Coach for the Navy men’s track and field team. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and a highly successful and documented coaching background in track and field, preferably as a Head Coach of a NCAA intercollegiate program. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, coordinating the recruitment of qualified NCAA Division 1 level student-athletes, equipment management, meet preparation and administration, coordination of meet officials, direction and leadership of the track and field summer camp program, coaching the team daily in practice, organizing practice routines, and the budget process. Applicants must have a strong knowledge of the NCAA rules and national recruiting experience. Applicant must also possess highly knowledgeable experience coaching all track and field events. The successful candidate will also assume supplemental responsibilities for teaching within the physical education program.
